This paper from Korea appears to be a game changer: It shows that a 4 kHz pulsed EMF signal can activate a switch that controls gene expression. A physicist tells the New Scientist (April 30) that the claimed biological response is ”incredibly implausible.” On the other hand, a comment published in a Nature journal on August 20 by another Korean group sees great promise for the new Ei switch in medical therapies.
