Nocturnal Light Impairs Responses

“Nocturnal Light Exposure Impairs Affective Responses in a Wavelength-Dependent Manner,” Journal of Neuroscience, August 7, 2013.

“Computers, televisions, e-readers, and CFL bulbs emit blue light, and nighttime use is widespread. Our results highlight the importance of wavelength in mood-related responses to light. This should direct efforts to minimize the deleterious effects of aberrant light exposure through manipulation of wavelength.” From Ohio State University.
