Mike Repacholi has now revealed that up to half of the funds raised for his EMF Project came from industry. This admission comes in an interview with Resource Strategies Inc. in an effort, he states, to “set the record straight.” Repacholi is circulating the text of the interview far and wide because, he says, he wants “the truth about WHO” to be known.

COST281 will soon disband. This European committee, which has been looking into the possible health effects of wireless radiation primarily by hosting a series of small workshops during the last five years, has been run by FGF, the German mobile phone industry. COST281 will hold its last meeting in Brussels on November 17. A few days later, November 20-21, also in Brussels, the European Commission is hosting its 3rd mobile communications seminar on managing EMF health risks. (See also September 22 below.)

Today, there has been another uproar about the accuracy of the reports of what goes on at RF scientific meetings. Dariusz Leszczynski of Finland’s Radiation and Nuclear Safety Authority in Helsinki is furious about the content of a so-called “Consensus Statement” coming out of a workshop on heat shock proteins (HSPs) held in Helsinki, April 28-29.
